HAS BEEN A BUSY YEAR!!
2007 has had the Carolina Uplink SNG Trucks
rockin’ n’ rollin’ all over the USA. We’ve
covered everything from Bridge Collapses in
Minnesota to Hurricanes in Texas. In
particular we would like to thank NBC
NewsChannel and Fox News for their strong show
of support. We are proud to be of service to
these and other fine organizations. We are

2006 STARTS OFF WITH A BANG!!
Thanks to our ever-growing list of clients, 2006 has picked up right where 2005 left off. The Carolina Uplink Satellite Trucks have been constantly busy covering everything from snow storms in Toledo, Ohio to basketball games in Oxford, Mississippi. In particular we would like to thank MSNBC, NBC’s Today Show, CBS’s Early Show, CNN, and ESPN for their strong show of support. We are proud to be of service to these and other fine organizations. CAROLINA UPLINK
TEAMS WITH MIDWEST PRODUCTION GROUP FOR HOOPS
Carolina Uplink has recently added Midwest Production Group to their ever growing list of clients. Carolina Uplink has entered an agreement to cover the “away” basketball games of St. Louis University with Midwest Production Group. This is an assignment that will have the Carolina Uplink Trucks traveling from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Charlotte, NC and all points in between!!! We look forward to a long and successful relationship with Midwest Production Group. |

Hurricane
Season
2005
Carolina Uplink SNG Trucks #1 and #2 were called into action to cover Hurricane Season 2005 like they were never called before. Working for clients such as NBC, NBC News Channel, MSNBC, Fox News Channel, CBS Early Show and FEMA, the Carolina Uplink Trucks were deployed to the Gulf Region and worked continuously from August 20 through November 1. We would like to thank these special clients for their continued support and look forward to working with them again in the near future. |

Trucks Now TRIPLE PATH
Carolina Uplink has recently
made some upgrades to its fleet which include
making BOTH SNG Trucks TRIPLE PATH DIGITAL.
Carolina Uplink SNG Truck #1 (van) is now
equipped with 2 Tandberg 5740 encoders and
1 Tiernan SE 4000 encoder while Carolina Uplink
SNG Truck #2 features 3 Tandberg 5500s.
With their increased transmission capabilities,
these trucks are ideal for high profile events.

Carolina Uplink
Covers Hurricane Dennis
Carolina Uplink SNG Trucks
#1 and #2 were called into action to cover
Hurricane Dennis for NBC, NBC NewsChannel,
Fox News Channel, and FEMA. The Carolina Uplink
Trucks were deployed to the Gulf of Mexico
area and weathered the storm from July 7 through
July 13. We would like to thank these special
clients for their continued support and look

Election Night 2004
When our local friends at
WCNC in Charlotte and WNCN in Raleigh needed help
with their Election Night 2004 coverage they turned
to Carolina Uplink. Carolina Uplink SNG Truck
#1 was on hand in Wrightsville Beach, NC covering
the Patrick Ballantine campaign while the newly
acquired Carolina Uplink SNG Truck #2 was in Robbins,
NC covering the Kerry/Edwards campaign. Carolina
Uplink would like to thank WNCN and WCNC for their
support and we look forward to working with them
both in the near future.

Carolina Uplink Called
On by Uncle Sam
Carolina Uplink SNG Truck
#1 was called into action by the Federal Emergency
Management Agency on August 14, 2004 to cover
the beginnings of what was a disastrous hurricane
season. The Carolina Uplink Truck was stationed
in Orlando, Florida until October 29, 2004 putting
up daily press conferences and tape feeds for
FEMA. We would like to thank FEMA for their continued
support and look forward to working with them
the next time we are called upon.

Help Was
on the Way
When CNN needed help with their
2004 Democratic Convention Coverage they turned
to Carolina Uplink and help was on the way. When
they wanted to put up three digital paths from various
points in Boston, help was on the way. When they
needed two SNG Truck Operators to have the truck
run virtually around the clock, help was on the
way. Carolina Uplink would like to thank CNN for
their support and we look forward to working with
them throughout this election year. |

Teams With The Weather Channel
The Carolina Uplink SNG
Truck made its way to Wrightsville Beach,
NC on August 1-2, 2004 to team with The Weather
Channel on their coverage of Hurricane Alex.
The Carolina Uplink Truck put up three digital
paths for over 20 hours each day. We thank
The Weather Channel for their support and
look forward to working with them throughout
Hurricane Season. |

Carolina Uplink
and ABCs White Bus
The first couple months
of 2004 have kept the Carolina Uplink Satellite
Truck very busy. January and February saw
the Carolina Uplink Truck and Crew on the
road with ABCs White Bus. Covering the
2004 Primaries from coast-to-coast, the Carolina
Uplink SNG Truck logged over 13,000 miles
driven and performed transmissions from 14
different states. We would like to thank ABC
for this extended booking and we look forward
to working with them throughout this election
year. |
